Scientific meeting abroad (OUT)

A researcher who wishes to go to a conference, in Europe or outside Europe, and who presents a communication or poster accepted for presentation by the conference organizers, can request compensation from the F.R.S.-FNRS for transport costs.

Financing description

  • Persons concerned  : researchers from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation attached to one of the eligible institutions (see Appendix A in the regulations + eligibility conditions articles 5 and 6 of the regulations).
  • Object : Facilitate the presence of the researcher at meetings of a clearly scientific nature, involving the presentation and discussion of contributions or original reports. The researcher may receive financial assistance for their travel to the conference location (round trip).
  • Procedure  : submit the request 2 months before the start date of the scientific meeting in Europe, 3 months before that of a scientific meeting outside Europe using the form available online on the e-space platform, accessible at the address https://e-space.frs-fnrs.be.
