OCN: Body for social consultation and negotiation

The social consultation and negotiation body complements the joint bodies established in universities and is, therefore, not intended to replace the Works Councils, Basic Consultation Committees or Committees for Prevention and Protection at Work in universities, which maintain all the prerogatives attributed to them, whatever their legal sources.

The social consultation and negotiation body ensures the functions assigned to the union delegation as defined by CCT No. 5 of the National Labor Council.

This implies that the decisions and options taken by the FNRS Board of Directors, likely to have an impact on the employment, status and working conditions of FNRS staff, necessarily give rise to negotiation with the staff union representatives.
