Scientific Stay Scholarship (IN and OUT)

A researcher who wishes to complete a scientific stay IN (reception of a foreign researcher within one of the FWB's university institutions) or OUT (stay of an FWB researcher abroad) as part of research work financed by the F.R.S.-FNRS or one of its Associated Funds, for a period of one to three months.

Financing description

  • Persons concerned  :
    • researchers from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation participating in a program financed by the F.R.S.-FNRS or one of its associated funds (OUT).
    • foreign researchers visiting a laboratory in FWB as part of a program financed by the F.R.S.-FNRS or one of its associated Funds, (IN).
  • Object :
    • As part of the Scientific Stay Grant (OUT), the researcher can receive financial assistance for transport and accommodation costs.
    • As part of the Scientific Stay Grant (IN), the visiting researcher can receive financial assistance for stay costs.
  • Procedure  : The promoter of the research agreement supported by the F.R.S.-FNRS or its associated funds, submits the request, by email, 2 months before the start date of the stay using the appropriate form.
