Accessibility Statement

The Scientific Research Fund – FNRS undertakes to make its website www.fnrs.be accessible, in accordance with the law of July 19, 2018 relating to the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector organizations, transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Compliance status

The website www.fnrs.be is partially compliant to standard WCAG 2.1 Level AA , as required by Directive (EU) 2016/2102, due to the non-conformities and exemptions listed below.

Test results

An accessibility assessment was carried out internally in August 2025. This assessment made it possible to analyze the site's compliance with the WCAG 2.1 level AA standard.

On all the pages tested, the site generally complies with the main accessibility criteria. However, certain difficulties remain, in particular:

  • Absence or insufficiency of textual alternatives for certain decorative or functional images
  • Insufficient contrast on certain textual or interactive elements
  • Occasional keyboard navigation issues
  • Hierarchy of titles sometimes non-compliant

Corrective actions are planned to gradually improve site compliance.

This declaration was established on September 1, 2025 on the basis of a internal self-assessment carried out in August 2025, based on the methodology and recommendations published by AnySurfer.
